911 lead Bush into the Iraq war which most agree was one of the main stumbling points.......Obama looks to be on the verge of repeating this error if he can use this disaster to revive cap and trade which was all but a dead issue before this happened

if he can use this disaster to revive cap and trade which was all but a dead issue before this happened

ding ding ding.....we have a winner

This is now their agenda and their way to promote and push it. Why do you think he is doing so little to actually stop the leak and has shut down all drilling everywhere else in the country. I really like the line he used the other day that all of our oil reserves have been depleted and that is why BP was forced out to with this well to do this extra dangerous deep sea drilling. Which was an absolute lie, our oil reserves on land and in shallow water are more than all the opec countries combined.

I also like how everyone is being led to believe that the oil industry is currently shut down in the gulf as well. How all of these oil workers are now out of work, when really they aren't. The only ones out of work are the ones who were already out of work and had been training to try and get hired for new wells that were about to be dug. Not necessarily all of these people were to be hired. Oil is still being pumped out of the gulf at this moment.

We know who the screw-ups were, but a nation isn't going to rally around him like they did with Bush and Bin Laden.

That comparison isn't even close. What 5k troops dead, thousands more wounded, 7 year war that's cost us astronomically....to cap and trade bill that might possibly raise some electric bills 90 bucks a year?

I haven't heard that being claimed though.
